2 arrested after family finds man stabbed to death at Orange County park

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were arrested over the weekend, accused of leaving a man dead behind a well-known Orange County restaurant on Sunday.

Family members found the body of Dallas Wilson, 26, behind the Hot Dog Heaven restaurant in Millennium Park off East Colonial Drive.

Deputies said John Bryant, 21, and Tayler Holland, 22, were arrested on murder charges at a nearby hotel without incident.

"There was an altercation between the victim and the suspects that led to the death of the victim. The suspects took off, and a witness stepped forward, helped us with information that led us to the suspects," said Jane Watrel, of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Bryant is accused stabbing Wilson multiple times. He's charged with first-degree murder. Holland was charged with accessory after the fact, deputies said.

Investigators said they will look at footage from the surveillance cameras of nearby businesses that could help them piece the case together.

"It appears to be a family member that initially called us. He had been gone for an hour or so from where he was supposed to be, and they were out looking for him, and they saw his car and discovered him inside the park," said Lt. Mike Crabb, of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Channel 9 spoke with some of Wilson's co-workers, who were shocked to hear what happened.

Josh Giles said he and his co-workers waited for Wilson to show up for the day.

"His girlfriend called and said, 'Dallas got stabbed. He died,'" said Giles. "I don't know. It kind of struck a nerve. He's a family man. He was always worried about getting off and home early enough to get to his kids. He was a good guy, hard worker, real cool, real laid back."

The investigation is ongoing.
