According to FHP, a 24-year-old Saint Cloud man was walking southbound on the sidewalk on Narcoossee Rd. just past the intersection with Constance Blvd.

Troopers say the suspect vehicle, believed to be a dark-colored Tesla Model 3, was also headed southbound in the same area when the driver lost control and jumped the curb onto the sidewalk, striking the pedestrian.

The suspect vehicle then continued southbound on Narcoossee without rendering any aid to the man who was hit or calling for help.

The victim was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

According to FHP, a trooper investigating the crash found a hubcap at the scene from a possible suspect vehicle, but the car and its driver still haven’t been located.

There were no witnesses, but FHP released surveillance video of the crash Thursday to get help from the public tracking down the vehicle and driver.

Troopers say the suspect vehicle should be missing a hubcap on one of the tires and likely has sideswipe damage on the right side.

FHP is asking any mechanics or auto body shops in the area that have made repairs matching that description to contact them at (407) 737-2213. Anyone else with information on the crash is also asked to call. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can contact FHP through CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-8477
