ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Firefighters and paramedics responded to hazmat incident in northwest Orange County Tuesday morning.

Several people were sickened by carbon monoxide at a home in Apopka, Orange County Fire Rescue said.
Channel 9 was there as crews assessed patients at the residence along Timberwolf Trail.

Around 6:30 a.m., Drone 9 captured several ambulances driving away from the area.

A battalion chief with OCFR confirmed that five people, including children, were taken to hospitals for treatment.
Eyewitness News is working to learn the extent of injuries to those who were inside the home.
Officials said an air compressor located inside a garage caused carbon monoxide to enter the home.

Firefighters worked to air out the home and residents who weren’t sickened during the incident were allowed back inside around 7 a.m.
