TAMPA, Fla. — The Florida State Fair has been ranked among the three best state fairs in the country in a new analysis.
Social gaming platform ACE.com placed Florida third nationally after examining Google search interest, social media activity, visitor ratings and admission prices for major fairs across the United States.
The Florida State Fair averaged 90,500 monthly Google searches, matching the top-ranked Minnesota State Fair. Researchers also counted 5,328 TikTok hashtag posts and 45,991 Instagram hashtag posts associated with the Florida event.
The Tampa fair received an average visitor rating of 4.4 out of 5 and charged $12 for admission, according to the study.
The top 10 state fairs were:
- Minnesota State Fair
- Iowa State Fair
- Florida State Fair
- North Carolina State Fair
- Washington State Fair
- Wisconsin State Fair
- Ohio State Fair
- Illinois State Fair
- Indiana State Fair
- Kansas State Fair
Minnesota took the top spot with a 4.7-star visitor rating and more than 345,000 combined TikTok and Instagram hashtag posts. Iowa placed second with a 4.6-star rating and an $11 ticket price.
Kansas offered the least expensive admission among the fairs analyzed at $7, while the State Fair of Texas was the most expensive at $52.
ACE.com said it collected the data in June from Google, social media platforms, review websites and official fair websites. Higher search volume, social media activity and visitor ratings improved a fair’s score, while lower admission prices were rewarded for affordability.
The 2026 Florida State Fair was held Feb. 5-16 in Tampa.
