BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Orlando Health is expanding its primary care services in Brevard County with the addition of its first two primary care physicians in the health system’s East Region.
Dr. Anita Fazeli and Dr. Srividya Kannan attended Cocoa Beach Junior Senior High School together before pursuing careers in medicine. They are now returning to the area to provide care in the community where they grew up.
Kannan will provide family medicine services for patients of all ages, including children.
Fazeli will care for patients ages 16 and older. She is fluent in Persian and speaks conversational Spanish.
The physicians will practice at Orlando Health Physician Associates, located at 8055 Spyglass Hill Road, Suite 102, in Viera.
Orlando Health plans to introduce the physicians during a meet-and-greet and ribbon-cutting ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 29. The event will also include tours of the practice and discussions about the health system’s expansion of primary care services in the region.
The addition of Fazeli and Kannan comes as Orlando Health continues to expand its presence in Brevard County. The health system’s East Region includes Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital and Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital. Orlando Health Viera Hospital is also planned for the region.
