PALM BAY, Fla. — A fourth-grader was killed Wednesday when he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle, police said.
The child was struck outside a shopping plaza on Eldron Boulevard north of Bayside Lakes Boulevard.
The crash was reported about 2 p.m.
Police said the boy was riding out of the parking lot and had just left school for the day.
No other details were released.
UPDATE:The 4th grader that was hit on his bicycle has succumbed to his injuries.He had just left school, after early release.
