ORLANDO, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed a bill targeting hate crimes in Florida.

He signed it while on his foreign visit to Israel on Thursday.

The law makes harassing someone based on their religion or ethnicity a hate crime that can be prosecuted as a third-degree felony.
This follows recent cases of antisemitism in places like Volusia and Orange counties.
