DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — To reduce overcrowding Halifax Humane Society is offering reduced adoption fees as part of a nationwide “Empty the Shelters” event.

From July 11 - 31 adoption fees will be reduced to $50 thanks to help from BISSELL Pet Foundation.
Halifax Humane Society is one of more than 250 shelters in 42 states participating in the event.

Since 2016 BISSELL Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” event has been one of the largest funded adoption events in the country and is said to have helped find homes for more than 96,000 pets.

Anyone wishing to adopt a cat or dog can do so at the Halifax Humane Society at 2364 LPGA Boulevard in Daytona Beach.
