Farm Share said it helps to fight hunger “by working hand-in-hand with local farmers to recover and redistribute produce that would otherwise be thrown away due to aesthetic imperfections.”
On average, Farm Share acquires between 20 and 40 million pounds of produce annually. This produce is moved, briefly stored and then distributed to hungry families, children, seniors and individuals, all within 48 hours.#Farmshare #Teamfarmshare https://t.co/zUETZYdOLz

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Saturday’s distribution events will be drive-thru style to minimize contact and to help ensure the safety of everyone who participates, organizers said.
Attendees must also wear a mask and arrive in a vehicle with a trunk or cargo bed.
Both giveaways will be on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
Everyone is welcome.
