COCOA, Fla. — A free Halloween party and decorated golf cart parade will take over Historic Cocoa Village on Oct. 31.
“The 7th Chapter: Halloween Party” begins at 6:30 p.m. at Kimco Real Estate, 501 Florida Ave. The fourth annual Cocoa Village Golf Cart Parade will begin at 7 p.m.
Admission is free, and the event is open to the public. It will follow the city of Cocoa’s Fall Festival.
Organizers said the parade will feature golf carts competing in categories including spookiest, most nostalgic, most fun, most illuminated and most animated.
Other activities include a costume photo booth with cash prizes, games, food from Crydermans BBQ and opportunity basket drawings.
Proceeds will benefit Brittany’s Wish, a local nonprofit that assists families of children receiving treatment for leukemia and other cancers.
Costume contest winners will be announced Nov. 2.
Golf cart drivers must register in advance to be eligible for parade awards. Registration information is available at visitcocoavillage.com.
People who cannot attend may donate directly through Brittany’s Wish.
