How to reach emergency animal services in Palm Coast after hours

PALM COAST, Fla. — The City of Palm Coast is reminding residents that its Animal Control officers are not available around the clock.

Officers are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Anyone who needs help with a domestic animal during those hours can call 386-986-2520.

Here is whom residents should contact after hours:

  • Animal emergencies: Call the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911.
  • Non-emergency concerns: Leave a detailed message at 386-986-2520 or email AnimalControlOfficer@palmcoastgov.com. Animal Control will respond the next business day.
  • Animal bites: If the animal has been confined or no longer poses a threat, report the bite to the Sheriff’s Office and seek medical attention if necessary. The victim should also contact Animal Control during regular hours.
  • Wildlife concerns: Contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at 888-404-3922 or visit MyFWC.com.

Residents who want to surrender an animal should contact the Flagler Humane Society or another private rescue organization. The Flagler Humane Society can be reached at 386-445-1814 or Info@FlaglerHumaneSociety.org.
