LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lake County Animal Shelter is celebrating “Dolly Parton Day” on Sept. 25, with a special adoption promotion featuring $9.25 adoption fees for all pets.
The promotion honors Dolly Parton’s legacy and love of animals while helping shelter pets find homes.
Lake County is participating alongside communities across the country.
Residents can meet available dogs and cats from 1 pm to 6 pm.
The Lake County Animal Shelter is located at 12280 County Road 448 in Tavares.
