LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake County family is suing Blue Rhino for more than $100,000 after the Tavares plant exploded and damaged their home.
Propane gas canisters littered the lawn of Herbert and Diane Welder's home the day after the July explosion.
One canister even sliced through the roof.
The couple's attorney said they're fearful for their future safety if the plant reopens and said the explosion has decreased the value of their home.
