EUSTIS, Fla. — The Eustis Fire Department is responding to a gas leak near Key Street and South Grove Street. Residents in the area have been evacuated as emergency crews respond to the incident.
Several roadways in the area have been closed to traffic during the emergency response. South Center Street is closed from Lemon Avenue to Fernshaw Avenue.
Key Avenue is also closed between South Grove Street and South Mary Street.
The evacuations were put in place for safety near the intersection where the leak occurred. Firefighters remain on the scene to address the situation.
Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling near the affected area.
