CLERMONT, Fla. — High-speed fiber optic line installation is scheduled to begin next week in the Skyridge Valley developments in Clermont.

The project is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete.

The construction will cause noise and close sidewalks and lanes on several streets. Crews will restore affected yards and city rights-of-way after work.

The installation will take place on Country Brook Avenue, Crestridge Drive, Woodvale Drive, Knollcrest Drive, Pacific Avenue, Lombard Circle, Chancellor Court, Muir Court and Sutter Drive.

Flaggers will be present on-site to direct traffic around lane closures. Construction crews will also include a customer service representative to answer residents’ questions regarding the installation.

Residents who have questions for the city can contact Jimmy Conard by phone at 352-241-0178, extension 6601.
