LEESBURG, Fla. — Officials are investigating after an 18-year-old died following a shooting at a Leesburg park.
Police said an 18-year-old male from Eustis died after he was brought to a hospital with a gunshot wound.
Detectives later determined the shooting happened at Berry Park on Johns Avenue. Officials believe the shooting may have been the result of a drug deal gone wrong.
Suspect information has yet to be released.
The shooting remains under investigation.
