SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — For those looking to recycle cardboard or glass from the holidays, the Seminole County’s Solid Waste Management Division is providing this service for free at Red Bug Lake Park.

Seminole County Solid Waste said customers are encouraged to drop off their excess holiday recycling to prevent crime and alleviate curbside collection services.
“When left curbside, boxes from large items such as TVs can alert criminals to valuables inside a home,” Seminole County Solid Waste said.

Officials said the trailer will be placed in the bus parking lot at 3600 Red Bug Lake Road in Casselberry. It will be open during the park’s normal hours of operation.

Customers can bring glass and flattened cardboard (free of food debris) to be recycled.
Items that are not accepted include plastic, aluminum, trash, furniture, electronics and other household waste.
