ORLANDO, Fla. — A man accused of threatening someone with a gun during an attempted robbery at an Orlando bus stop was arrested after police tracked him to a LYNX bus, according to the Orlando Police Department.
Officers responded Sunday to the 3400 block of Conroy Road after a man reported being threatened with a firearm during an attempted robbery.
Investigators learned the suspect had boarded a LYNX bus and left the area, police said.
Officers later located the bus traveling on John Young Parkway and conducted a felony traffic stop.
Police said the suspect did not follow officers’ commands and attempted to walk away before officers took him into custody.
The victim later identified the suspect as 44-year-old Nicholas Javonn Sigma, according to police.
Sigma was arrested on charges of attempted robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm and resisting an officer without violence.
Police did not say whether a firearm was recovered.
The investigation remains active, and Orlando police said no additional details were being released because of the ongoing case.
