FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a man jumped out a window of a Greyhound bus and died.
The incident happened Wednesday as the bus headed north on Interstate 75 near Fort Myers.
Troopers said Christopher Deese, 36, of Mocksville, North Carolina, opened a window and jumped while the bus was moving. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Officials said the incident remains under investigation.
