Man in critical condition after hit-and-run crash in St. Cloud, police say

ST. CLOUD, Fla. — A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition Monday after being hit by an SUV in a hit-and-run crash, St. Cloud police said.

The crash was reported at about 6:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Ponderosa Drive.

The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

The vehicle involved was described as a small, silver or grey Jeep SUV with front-end damage.
