Martha Sugalski's triplets excited to see garbage truck with ‘friends'

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Tuesdays and Fridays are Heaton, Holden and Wilder Reich’s favorite days of the week, when they hear the horn honking from the Waste Pro garbage truck.

The truck has their favorite sanitation engineers: Mr. Chad, Mr. Rob and Mr. Andrew.

It started more than two years ago, when the triplets, who were just babies in their stroller, would see the truck in the neighborhood.

That curiosity over time turned into a friendship, which has turned into pure love.

“I feel like they are my little brothers and sister. I really love these guys,” said Andrew Black, Waste Pro garbage man.

“They love you,” said Channel 9 anchor and mother of the triplets, Martha Sugalaski.

“They bring joy to my eyes,” Black said.

Every week, the soon-to-be 3-year-olds have a drink or a special snack in hand as they patiently wait for the gurus of garbage.

Also every week, their mother has posted the videos of the triplets interacting with their friends on various platforms of social media, and one of the videos has gone viral.

"Garb" day is almost here - the snicker doodles were so excited to see their friends on Tuesday!!!

“Reaction of this video has been priceless, crazy. Everyone says I’m am hero, but we are really … I am doing my job,” said Robert Whitmore, with Waste Pro.

“When I first started, I looked at it as another job. (Then) I started meeting a bunch of people. I just love it,” said Chad Cover, Waste Pro.

Every week, the triplets give the men a hug and a high fives before they leave.
