Florida boy, 11, found safe after missing child alert

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The missing child alert for Nohlan Surrency has been canceled. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the boy was found safe thanks to someone who saw the alert and spotted the child.


A missing child alert has been issued for an 11-year-old boy who was last seen in the Jacksonville area.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said it is searching for Nohlan Surrency, who reported missing early Tuesday.

Nohlan was last seen in the 4200 block of Moncrief Road, law enforcement officers said.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts and black shoes.

Nohlan has black hair and brown eyes. He stands 4-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds.

Anyone who sees Nohlan is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or 911.
