PALM COAST, Fla. — Several credit card skimming devices were found on Palm Coast gas station fuel pumps Tuesday and Wednesday, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said.
Two skimming devices were found on pumps at the Kangaroo Express at 1201 Palm Harbor Parkway Tuesday, a consumer protection specialist with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services reported.
As a result, investigators started conducting routine gas pumps in Palm Coast and found additional devices at a 7-Eleven gas station, 220 A Palm Coast Parkway; a BP gas station, 1755 Palm Harbor Parkway; and a Shell gas station, 320 Palm Coast Parkway NE.
“If you have utilized any of these four gas stations in Palm Coast, or any gas station, it is imperative that you check your bank card or credit card statement to make sure you do not have fraudulent charges on your account,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said. “If you notice anything suspicious, you could contact your bank or credit card company immediately.”
