BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — NASA’s most sophisticated Mars rover yet is set to arrive at the red planet in mid-February.
It’s on a mission to search for signs of ancient microbial life.

The Perseverance Rover will land on the Jezero Crater on February 18th.
It will collect and store rock and soil samples for a future sample return mission.

The rover is equipped with its own tiny helicopter and will test technologies to help pave the way for human exploration.
