OCALA, Fla. — The City of Ocala is inviting local artists to submit their work for its 2026 Student and Emerging Artist Competition.
The competition, titled “Foundation,” is open to Marion County artists with up to six years of experience, including high school students.
Artists can submit one original work completed within the past two years. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. Nov. 13.
Selected artwork will be displayed at Ocala City Hall from Dec. 3 through March 9, 2027.
Winners will be selected in three divisions, along with a Best of Show winner who will receive a $1,000 prize from Fine Arts For Ocala.
Awards will be presented during a reception at Ocala City Hall on Jan. 12, 2027.
