OCALA, Fla. — Tickets are now on sale for the Ocala Symphony Orchestra’s 2026-27 season, which includes more than a dozen concerts and special events in Central Florida.
One of the season’s biggest performances will be the North Central Florida premiere of “Disney’s Aladdin in Concert” on Nov. 7 and 8.
More than 60 musicians will perform Alan Menken’s Academy Award-winning score live while Disney’s 1992 animated movie plays on a screen above the stage. Dialogue and sound effects from the film will also be included.
The season opens Oct. 24 and 25 with “Pictures at an Exhibition: From Dalí to Mussorgsky,” combining orchestral music with works inspired by visual art.
Other subscription concerts include:
- “Pops! Goes the Holidays” on Dec. 5 and 6
- “Enchanted: Swan Lake, Firebird and Cinderella” on Jan. 23 and 24
- “The Long Arc” on Feb. 27 and 28
- “Fate Awakens” on March 20 and 21
- “Famous Last Words” on April 17 and 18
The orchestra will also present holiday events including Handel’s “Messiah,” “The Nutcracker” with Dance Alive National Ballet and the free Symphony Under the Lights concert at Tuscawilla Park.
The schedule includes choral performances, a young artist competition and an intimate Music Box chamber series at the Reilly Arts Center.
“What makes these concerts special isn’t just the music on the page — it’s the experience of hearing it together, live, in the same room,” Music Director and Conductor Matthew Wardell said.
Several subscription concert rehearsals will be open to the public for free on the Fridays before performances.
Individual tickets start at $15 for adults and $10 for students. Season subscriptions will remain available through Oct. 24.
