TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Airshow fans along the Space Coast got a firsthand glimpse of vintage planes dating back to the World War II era as they flew over Titusville for the TICO Warbird Airshow.
The airshow showcased the rare 75-year-old North American SNJ planes used in the Korean War and World War II.
The famous Geico Skytypers airshow team performed air acrobatics and daredevil techniques.
One spectator, a pilot who flew in Vietnam, said the event brought back old memories.
“I think it’s great. There’s a lot of aircrafts. I saw the Cobra flying and I flew Cobras in Vietnam,” Woody Woddard said.
The show will end Sunday afternoon.
