Orange Co. judge: Casey Anthony could pay unlimited amount in defamation lawsuit

An Orange County judge ruled Friday there will be no limit on what Casey Anthony could be ordered to pay in the defamation lawsuit involving Zenaida Gonzalez.

Anthony's attorneys had asked that the jury be banned from ordering her to pay punitive damages.

Circuit court judge Lisa Munyon ruled Anthony's attorneys didn't file the right motion.

Gonzalez is suing Anthony for using her name as the fictional nanny who kidnapped Caylee Anthony four years ago.

The defamation trial is set to begin in January.
