Orange County deputies need help solving 2004 cold case death

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office recently received a report about the death of a Hispanic man.

Deputies said the man, known as “Roberto” with a possible last name of “Perez,” worked along the International Drive corridor and may have had on a uniform with a nametag.

Deputies believe the man was killed in 2004, but said on Thursday, they need help solving the cold case.

He is described as a Puerto Rican man, and may have been between 40 and 50 years old, 5 feet 6 inches, to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 155 to 165 pounds with a thin build.

Deputies have asked the community and the hospitality community workers to look at the composite sketch.%
