Orange County teacher accused of stalking, harassing ex-girlfriend

An Orange County elementary school teacher is accused of stalking and harassing another teacher.
Stephen Boyd, a teacher at McCoy Elementary School, allegedly stalked his ex-girlfriend, who is a teacher at another school.
The victim was at Boyd’s court appearance Thursday, during which she described  months and months of harassment from Boyd.
An affidavit describes excessive phone calls before work, during lunch and at the end of the school day.
The victim told the judge she had to install the TrapCall app on her phone to unmask calls from Boyd.
“I have over 1,000 phone calls through a period of about six months,” she said.
An arrest affidavit shows the stalking didn’t stop at phone calls, social media messages and in-person appearances.
Last month, a GPS device was found under a wheel well of the car belonging to the victim’s current boyfriend.
A witness was able to identify Boyd as the person who put the device on the vehicle.
