ORLANDO, Fla. — Attorney Dan Newlin said he will host a free concert at 6 p.m. July 17 at Hard Rock Live Orlando to honor Central Florida’s health care workers.
Shaggy and Flo Rida will perform at the concert at Universal CityWalk.

Newlin told Channel 9 that 30,000 people have registered for the concert, but the venue has a capacity of 3,000.
He said registrants will be asked about how the pandemic has personally affected them, and those responses will help determine who will attend the concert.

“Our healthcare workers worked around the clock to fight for victims of COVID-19, and we’ll honor them with this extraordinary concert,” Newlin said in a news release.
