Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida hosting drive-thru college fair

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is hosting its second annual Drive-Thru College Fair this week.

The event, scheduled for Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m., will be open to all local high school students outside the club at 712 W. Amelia Street, Orlando, 32805.

“At Boys & Girls Clubs we’re all about making sure our kids have a plan for after they graduate from high school,” said Service Director Tasha Robinson-Banks in a statement. “These days, a high school diploma is necessary but not sufficient. We need to ensure our Club members know their options for what comes next.”

Organizers said the drive-thru setup will allow for people with COVID-19 concerns to remain in their cars while receiving information and talking with college representatives.
