Central Florida community comes together to ‘Dance, Dream, and Inspire’ for Embrace Families

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Central Florida community came together Saturday for a star-studded competition for a good cause.

The Embrace Families “Dance, Dream, and Inspire” event brought out several local personalities, including Channel 9 anchor Karla Ray, who co-hosted the event, and JoJo, and on-air personality with radio station STAR 94.5.

The night opened with a performance by the Howard Middle School Dance Team.

Channel 9 sports reporter Joe Kepner was one of the local celebrities who partnered up with a professional ballroom dancer at the event.

In the end, it was Advent Health’s Sarah Hohman who stole the night with her rumba.

The event raised over $160,000 for Embrace Families to continue supporting those in the foster care system.
