Deepak Chopra bringing new telehealth platform to Lake Nona

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A high-tech, holistic approach to healing and a world-famous, best-selling author are coming to Lake Nona.

Dr. Deepak Chopra, a leading pioneer in alternative medicine and the mind-body connection, has picked Lake Nona to take his practices of whole-body wellness to a telehealth platform.

“The best integrative medicine brought to you, wherever you are in the world,” Chopra told Channel 9.

Teaming with technology partners Verizon and CareSpan, the Chopra Integrative Medicine Center unites the best care with the highest quality of modern and holistic treatment.

“The future of medicine is precise, it’s preventable, it’s personalized, it’s predictable,” Chopra said. “It’s a process, and that’s where technology comes in.”

Though the clinic is in the Cloud, Chopra’s team of medical experts can share reports to treat all conditions, focusing on a patient’s lifestyle management instead of just the disease.

The Chopra Integrative Medicine plans to set up headquarters at the Lake Nona Town Center and launch its multifaceted telehealth platform sometime in November.
