Full Sail student charged in U.S. Capitol riot to be released from jail

ORLANDO, Fla. — A Full Sail student charged with taking part in the riots at the U.S. Capitol in Washington in January, will be released from jail.

Grady Owens, 21, of Winter Park is accused of hitting a police officer in the head with a skateboard during the riot.

The officer suffered a concussion.

Court documents show that Owens will remain on home detention until his status hearing on June 25th.

Owens faces several felony charges.
