‘Inspired by our future storytellers’: Valencia College culinary students tour Disney restaurant

ORLANDO, Fla. — Valencia College culinary students were in for a treat after they had an exclusive tour of a Disney restaurant.

Students were able to see the reimagined dining room at Victoria & Albert’s before its official grand reopening later this month.

Walt Disney World has also donated $50,000 to Valencia College Foundation to enhance the culinary program.

“We’re so inspired by our future storytellers here at Disney and loved welcoming these students for a hands-on learning experience at the ‘culinary crown jewel’ of Walt Disney World Resort,” said Maribeth Bisienere said, senior vice president of operations.

Valencia College Provost Wendy Givoglu said immersive experiences like this one help encourage students to reach for their goals.
