Looking for a job and love to travel? Marriott Vacations Worldwide will host a hiring event today

ORLANDO, Fla. — For those who like to travel and have a passion for interacting with people, there might be a job for you.

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is hosting a local hiring event today at the Sheraton Vistana Villages.

There will be a $1,000 sign-on bonus for a variety of resort operations positions, including housekeeping, at its nine Central Florida resorts.

The company plans to hire 150 positions throughout the summer.

Non-tipped hourly positions start at $16.25 per hour and salaried management positions are also available. Relevant industry experience is preferred. However, it is not required and paid training will be offered.

Orlando is home to Marriott Vacations Worldwide’s global headquarters and is one of the top three largest public companies in the city.

The hiring event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sheraton Vistana Villages. Pre-registration for the event can be found here.
