ORLANDO, Fla. — People who travel to and from Orlando will have a new airline option.
LYNX Air flew its first flight to the United States on Friday.
The flight departed from Toronto Pearson International Airport and arrived at Terminal C at Orlando International Airport.
The company said fares could start as low as $119.
Kevin Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, was present for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at MCO.
He said this is an example of the ties Central Florida has as LYNX Air expands internationally.
LYNX Air will operate four direct flights each week between Toronto and Orlando.
