Deputies: Man dies after being shot several times at Orange County apartment complex

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A man died after he was shot several times at an Orange County apartment complex, according to deputies.

Just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies said they responded to the Royal Place Apartments on Belco Drive in reference to several 911 calls for shots fired.

When deputies arrived, they said they found a 31-year-old man with several gunshot wounds to his body.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Witnesses told deputies the suspect fled the scene before they arrived.

The investigation is ongoing.

No other details were available.
