Man fatally shot near busy Orange County road, deputies offering up to $5,000 reward for information

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 30-year-old man was fatally shot Friday afternoon, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrived at the 1400 block of North Goldenrod Road in reference to a shots fired call. There, they found 30-year-old Dominic Bolden, who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, deputies said.

Eyewitness Raul Maldonado said he heard “many, many gunshots and shooting between the cars," and that a black car was shot by someone in another car.

Maldonado said he sped off to protect himself, and that he saw a man running north on Goldenrod Road.

Investigators are turning their focus to a black car and SUV that crashed into each other. A Mercedes sat nearby with two other cars, with evidence markers scattered all around them in the street. Crime scene technicians took pictures of casings.

The scene caused road closures and backed up traffic for hours.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
