‘He will never be forgotten’: Bench dedicated in honor of Orlando police Officer Kevin Valencia

ORLANDO, Fla. — A memorial bench was dedicated to fallen Orlando Police Officer Kevin Valencia on Tuesday.

In 2018, Valencia was shot in the line of duty while trying to save children from a domestic violence situation. He passed away from his injuries in March 2021.

Police Chief Orlando Rolón joined Mayor Buddy Dyer and members of the Orlando Police Department as the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association (CFHLA) were present to dedicate the bench in honor of Valencia.

“He will never be forgotten,” Dyer said.
