‘He made me laugh all the time’: Wife of fallen Orlando police officer remembers husband as fun-loving family man

ORLANDO, Fla. — The wife of fallen Orlando police officer Kevin Valencia is sharing her husband’s story following his tragic death.

In 2018, Valencia was shot in the line of duty while trying to save children from a domestic violence situation. He passed away from his injuries last month.

On Thursday, his widow Meghan Valencia sat down with Channel 9′s Jeff Deal to share her late husband’s story.

“My husband was sincerely one of the silliest people,” Valencia said. “He loved to make people laugh. He made me laugh all the time.”

The fun-loving father of two boys – Kaleb, 8, and Kolton, 3 – died a hero at the age of 29.
