Motorcycle rider killed after being thrown from bike, FHP says

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened in Orange County,

The crash happened Saturday, at 1:55 a.m., near the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Wetherbee Road.

Troopers said a Honda motorcycle was traveling southbound on South Orange Avenue behind a Honda Accord.

The motorcycle failed to stop and crashed into the rear of the Accord.

The impact threw the rider off the motorcycle.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Accord was not injured and remained at the scene.
