New York City Beer Project breaks ground on 24,000-square-foot brewery in Winter Garden

WINTER GARDEN, Fla, — The New York Beer Project, a New York-based brewery, broke ground in Winter Garden for its new 24,000-square-foot facility.

The project will feature a gastropub, indoor beer garden, tap room, sidewalk bistro and three New York City themed event spaces.

The facility is located on the corner of Seidel Road and Seton Creek Boulevard.

The brewery, which is 5,000 square feet in area, is being built to recreate an early 1900s indoor beer garden from New York’s Lower East Side.

Owners Kelly and Kevin Krupski created the New York Beer Project (NYBP) to pay homage to the history of brewing and beer gardens in the United States.

“In our hometown of Lockport, New York, there was a large community of people, but not that many places to gather, eat, drink and have fun,” says Kelly. “We built the original location for our community, and that’s what we plan to do in Horizon West. We are fully aware of the tourist element, as we love to visit Orlando and its world-class attractions. However, we want to build lasting relationships with the families and residents who live here.”
