New York firm buys resort on Walt Disney World property

ORLANDO, Fla. — Editor’s note: This story is available as a result of a content partnership between WFTV and the Orlando Business Journal.

New York-based real estate giant Tishman on March 28 bought the 400-room Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek $120.5 million, $301,250 per guest room, according to Orange County records.

The listed buyer was Bonnet Creek Hotel Owner LLC, which has an address that traces back to Tishman.

The hotel, which debuted in 2011, is on 7.33 acres at 14651 Chelonia Parkway on the southeastern end of Walt Disney World’s property.

Representatives with the firms could not be reached for comment.
