One dead after shooting in Parramore, Orlando police say

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating a deadly shooting in Parramore Monday night.

Police responded to the 600-block of W. South Street shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.

Officers arrived and located an injured man toward the rear of a parking lot.

Police said that victim, identified as Ismael James, 39, was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center, but did not survive.

Orlando police have not said what led up to the deadly shooting, and they said no suspects have been identified.
