One person dead, another in critical condition following Orange County fire

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Fire Rescue is investigating a fatal fire at a mobile home park on Canoga Drive.

Firefighters were called to the Lakeshore Landings Mobile Home Park around 8 p.m. on Monday.

Crews arrived to find flames showing and about 20% of the residence involved.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrived at 9:15 p.m. to assist fire rescue.

According to deputies, a female victim in her 70s was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A male victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition, deputies said.
