Orange County Courthouse to reopen at noon after closure due to power outage

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orange County Courthouse will reopen at noon after being closed for several hours due to a power outage.

11:55 a.m. update:

Officials have confirmed power has been restored and the Orange County Courthouse will reopen at noon.

A spokesperson for the court system said any proceedings that could not go forward Thursday morning will be rescheduled.

The Orange County Courthouse will be closed Thursday morning due to a power outage.

Officials said the courthouse will be closed to visitors and employees until power can be restored.

Once the power is back on the courthouse will resume normal business.

Officials did not say what caused the power outage.

It’s unclear how long it will take crews to restore power to the courthouse.
