Orange County Fire Rescue recruits train for high angle rescues

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Fire Rescue conducted a high angle rope simulation training for current recruit Class 96 as they complete the EMT portion of their 10-month recruit program.

Tuesday’s scenario involved a patient who was unresponsive on a rooftop.

Recruits were tasked with providing immediate care as the truck unit worked to gain access and remove the patient from the rooftop.
