ORLANDO, Fla. — We are now just one week away from Thanksgiving.
That means many will soon head to the airport, to either get on a plane or pick up loved ones.
Things are about to get busy at Orlando International Airport with the holiday travel season just around the corner.
Nationally, nearly 55 million people are expected to travel this holiday season, according to AAA.
That’s up slightly from 2021 and nearly as high as pre-pandemic volumes.
“It’s been crazy out there,” said traveler Jeremiah Davis. “Flights getting canceled. Long lines.”
Later this morning, airport officials are set to share their travel projections for this Thanksgiving.
